Intelligent security shouldn't be complicated or expensive
Too many businesses are still managing security with outdated tools—radios, paper logs, fragmented software. AlertCore exists to change that. We built a single platform that handles retail alerting, security operations, home protection and intelligence sharing—so teams can focus on responding, not wrestling with technology.
AlertCore is built by Digidrop Ltd, headquartered in Basingstoke, England. Founded in 2017, Digidrop provides all security technology and software development services to DGCS (Digidrop Group Collections & Security Ltd)—and AlertCore is the platform born from that real-world operational experience.

How we got here
2017
Digidrop Ltd founded, providing security consultancy and software development services to businesses across the UK.
2019
DGCS (Digidrop Group Collections & Security Ltd) established as a dedicated security company, with Digidrop providing all technology and development services.
2022
Early retail panic tooling informed by DGCS operations laid groundwork for what would become ShopAssist on AlertCore.
2023
Control room and patrol workflows from DGCS field teams shaped requirements for later AlertCore operations products.
2024
Development of AlertCore began at Digidrop—a unified platform for retail panic, home safety, operations and intelligence, built from real DGCS experience.
2025
HomeAlert and ShopAssist were developed and released on iOS and Android, with web sign-up and password setup on alertcore.io.
Ongoing
Control, Shifts, Intel, MobilePatrol and other AlertCore products remain in active development—shipping iteratively as they mature.
